OPPORTUNITIES OF SERVICE
Work Groups
- Volunteers are needed: individuals, care groups, youth groups, Sunday school classes, etc. for various work projects. Give us a call regarding current needs. We also have an opening for a volunteer willing to organize and supervise group projects.
Food Bank
- Volunteers are needed to sort, rotate stock and breakdown bulk foods. We can also use some people who would be willing to organize and run food drives.
Office
- Volunteers are needed to cover receptionist/data entry responsibilities to collate newsletter and other mailings.
Development
- Newsletter Assistant: research and write articles for a quarterly newsletter. Assist with layout. Can work at home or office.
- Web Designer/Web Master: Assist with updating or re-designing website. Monitor and keep web page current. Can work at home or office.
- Grant Research: Research grant opportunities for various programs at the agency.
Special Events
- Fundraisers: Golf Tournament; Golf Marathon; Comedy Club; Cut-a-Thon; etc.
- 20th Anniversary Celebration
- Special Programs: Christmas Gift Giving for children; Coat Drive; Thanksgiving Baskets, etc.
